Housing Options in Rwanda
Housing options in Kigali and Rwanda are generally cheap compared to many countries, thanks to the viability of many different neighborhoods and areas for foreigners, and all common options are available from luxury hotels, to market hotels, to lokandas, to furnished apartments, and even innovative types of folkloric housing and others. Both hotels and lokhandes are the most common option, and the most suitable for those with short stay plans that do not exceed days or a week, and the price of $30 can be considered the average common price, as the price rises, depending on the place, luxury and services, up to $200 for hotels outside the busy season, and drops to $10, but for very small rooms without any features. As for furnished apartments, the common practice in Kigali is to rent by the month, and prices start from $ 200 for a studio apartment, to $ 700 for a large 3-room apartment, and rise to a few thousand in the case of furnished villas with swimming pools, which are usually in prestigious neighborhoods.
